For Dr. Zohdi, dentistry has never simply been a career. It has been a calling he has pursued for nearly half his life.
His journey began more than 14 years ago, when he started working in a dental office while still in high school. From those first days in the practice, he was hooked. Fascinated by the combination of science, artistry, problem-solving, and human connection, he knew early on that becoming a dentist was what he wanted to dedicate his life to.
Born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Dr. Zohdi attended high school, college, and dental school in Dallas. At The University of Texas at Dallas, he was selected as one of only 20 recipients of the Terry Foundation Scholarship, earning a full scholarship for his undergraduate education. He then attended Texas A&M College of Dentistry, historically known as Baylor College of Dentistry, becoming the first doctor in his family.
After dental school, Dr. Zohdi pursued a wide range of clinical experiences, from busy denture and implant practices throughout Texas to a leading Dallas prosthodontic practice focused on complex restorative and cosmetic care. His commitment to lifelong learning includes hundreds of hours of advanced education through programs such as the Implant MaxiCourse, Progressive Orthodontic Seminars, and Zest Dental Solutions.
After five years of practicing throughout Texas, Dr. Zohdi chose Cleburne as the place to put down roots and bring that philosophy to his own practice. Having grown up in DFW, he has always been drawn to the close relationships and sense of community found in smaller towns. To him, Cleburne offers the best of both worlds: close enough to enjoy the amenities of the city, yet far enough away to build a grounded life, become part of a close-knit community, and form lasting relationships with the families he serves.
Dr. Zohdi loves all facets of dentistry and believes that mastering his craft allows him to better serve others. Guided by the belief that work is worship, he continually pursues new knowledge while giving back through volunteer and mission efforts.
Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his fiancé, family, and friends, attending church, swimming, hiking, fishing, playing sports, and attending football and basketball games.
His vision for Cleburne Dental is simple: to provide thoughtful, personalized dentistry for people from every walk of life and build a practice families can trust for generations.
